Required Volunteer Information
VIRTUS - “Protecting God's Children”
All parents and family members who wish to volunteer at the school, visit a student’s classroom, participate in a field trip, or volunteer at any of the school’s activities must have an active account on www.virtusonline.org and must be in compliance with all the Virtus requirements. Virtus is managed by the Diocese of Charleston and is one of our many tools to keep our students safe.
If you had a Virtus account in the past, check to see if you can still access your former account. If you cannot access your past account or if your past account is for a facility other than our school, contact the Virtus help desk at 888-847-8870 or helpdesk@virtus.org and notify the help desk that you wish to be a volunteer at St. Andrew Catholic School in Myrtle Beach, SC.
If you have never had a Virtus account in the past, go to www.virtusonline.org and create your account. Select your primary location as St Andrew Catholic School in the Diocese of Charleston, SC. Select your role as a volunteer.
All volunteers at St Andrew Catholic School must read and sign the following policies and complete the following actions:
Child Protection Policy
Code of Conduct
Social Media Policy
Please answer all required questions, complete the information needed for the Criminal Background Check, and complete the mandatory online training modules.
